About

Officer
Ray.

I work across backend/software engineering, Minecraft development, and infrastructure/server provisioning. I like complete systems, clear contracts, and an understandable handoff.

Development and deployment can be separate commissions or parts of the same project. Maintenance and ongoing support are agreed separately.

Backend & Software Engineering

I develop backend systems in Java and PHP/Laravel, with explicit contracts between application logic, integrations, and persistent state. My Laravel experience includes multi-tenant application architecture and tenant isolation; authentication, authorization, roles, and permissions; and relational database design with MySQL and PostgreSQL.

I work on audit logging and state-change tracking, queued jobs and scheduled processing, external API and service integrations, and automated tests for authorization and transactional consistency. Docker-based deployments and Linux server administration connect that development work to its operating environment.

My application work includes an operational business-management application built with PHP/Laravel and a separate multi-tenant commerce platform still under development. Current commerce work covers tenant access boundaries, transactional state changes, and automated tests. These applications remain confidential.

Java remains an important part of this work. Minasty and SS2Integration demonstrate reusable frameworks, persistent crop and progression systems, exact identity, and integrations with independently maintained plugins.

Minecraft Development

Java, Paper, and Minecraft are an important specialty. I develop custom gameplay systems and public plugins, with attention to event ordering, persistent identity, configuration, and the people operating the server.

The portfolio covers commissioned farming and progression work; the projects section includes Frostline Racing, PowerWeave, ItemFilter, and LegendarySwords.

Infrastructure & Server Provisioning

I’m available to provision Linux VPS and dedicated-server environments, deploy containerized applications, set up game-server panels and Minecraft networks, and work through networking, reverse-proxy, TLS, and database requirements. Monitoring, backups, migration, and operational troubleshooting can be part of an agreed scope. Maintenance and ongoing support are scoped separately.

My personal Pterodactyl installation on Arch uses Docker Compose for the Panel, Wings, MariaDB, and Redis. I worked through Docker networking and name-resolution issues, automated startup and graceful shutdown with Bash and the Pterodactyl API, migrated Minecraft servers, and integrated compatible servers behind Velocity. The technical writeup covers the implementation and its limits.

I have also installed MCSManager panels in two environments: a VPS and an older personal laptop.

Architectural design

I developed a Minecraft infrastructure reference architecture covering Proxmox, isolation, backups, monitoring, and recovery. This is architectural design work; it has not been implemented as a production deployment.

This site is the home base for case studies, project summaries, technical writeups, and experiments. Detailed configuration references live in each project’s documentation.
